Description

This day begins with a trip to discover the iconic Batalha Monastery. A monument full of history that leaves us marveling at its architectural details and its insightful symbolism.

Then we set out in search of the largest wave in the world on the coast of the fishing village called Nazaré. The wave only occurs when there are great storms in the ocean, but even if the weather conditions are unfavorable the viewpoint where the populations gather to see this unique phenomenon presents us with a museum that explains all the geological causes for this monster of nature.

We will have lunch in Nazaré by the sea before exploring the picturesque town of Óbidos, where we will wander through the medieval streets of this village built inside a castle.
