Itinerary

- Sanctuary of Fátima

- Lunch

- Convent of Christ (Tomar)

Description

This is a special day for those with religious motivations. In the morning we are going to the Sanctuary of Fatima, which is a place of Christian pilgrimage and Catholic devotion, preserving the memory of the events that led to its foundation, connected with the apparitions of Our Lady to the three shepherd children in 1917.

After a lunch where we will have the opportunity to experience typical Portuguese gastronomy, we will visit the Convent of Christ, whose construction began in 1160 and is closely linked to the beginnings of the kingdom of Portugal and the role played by the Order of the Templars. It has been reconfigured and expanded in subsequent centuries, when the Order of Christ was founded there.
