Itinerary

- Mafra Palace & Convent

- Peniche (Lunch)

- Óbidos Village

Description

The palace and convent of Mafra is the most imposing building where some kings of Portugal lived. Built during one of the most prosperous periods in the country's history, mainly due to the gold coming from Brazil, at the time a Portuguese colony. This massive building leaves any visitor with a sense of wonder.

For lunch we leave towards the sea where we will eat at a restaurant on the coast. A good opportunity to try freshly caught fish and enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

We will end our day by exploring the picturesque town of Óbidos, where we will wander through the medieval streets of this village built inside a castle.
